The PA Veteran Farming Project will be hosting the fourth annual Veteran Farming Conference on Friday, February 24, 2023, in New Cumberland, PA. Veterans, military, and their spouses will convene to network, form new connections, and hear from speakers on a variety of agribusiness and production topics.
With funding from the Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement, Ellen Polishuk of Plant to Profit will be the keynote speaker, presenting on Soil Productivity for Growers and Livestock Producers. Also on the agenda: a Lenders Panel targeting beginning and entering farmers, veterinarian Robert J. Van Saun, DVM, a panel on Conservation funding with farmers who have used programming and NRCS and State Conservation Commission representatives, and other sessions of interest to attendees.
The Pennsylvania Friends of Agriculture Foundation is happy to be a partner of the Veteran Farming Project through gracious grant funding.
